It's a sad fact that I feel lucky to have seen an animation that has a strong message behind it on Newgrounds.

Really touching story brilliantly done. Perhaps some of the art could have been redrawn a few more times and the proportions needed a little work, but it's all good practice. You seem to have the knack for it, keep going!

Physics are unpredictable for sure, but stick physics in a small area and you know something is going to go wrong. And by god, it did. Often there would be levels you just had to reset, for example the one where the lava drops down a level and there are platforms underneath. Majority of the time, the platforms were impassably due to lava stuck to them, other bugs like click and jump and move would cause the character to hop in one direction and be unstoppable and they didn't even puke.

Though the game is frustrating it's an alright game. 8/10

But I will have to go with what others have said, your camera was very iffy, though I understand what you were aiming for (something similar to your animations) but it just didn't work in the end. Which is a real shame.

I'll give 5 out of sympathy.

Who are partners, who are enemies, who is doing what and when and why did everyone die at the end. Sounds almost poetic.

It's decent though, a little bit more time spent on the backgrounds could have been a pulse. I saw some 2 frame loops at some points. And many backgrounds reoccurred a few too many times.

I'll give you an 8 because you're obviously still praticing.
